Required documents for car rental
Individual person:
- valid ID card or passport
- valid driver license ( held for a minimum of 2 years)
- valid third document (credit card/ debit card)
Company:
- valid printout from the Companies Register
- valid ID card and driver license of the person who will drive the car
- contract of car rental has to be signed by the company executive
Payment conditions:
Payment for the car rental is made by credit/debit card, however, in specific occasions after agreement in advance, it is possible to pay also in cash. The client pays the car rental fee for the vehicle and returnable security deposit, that varies based on the type of the vehicle. The security deposit is considered as a participation in case of accident or damage caused by the Lessee. When the vehicle is returned without any damage, the security deposit will be returned in the full amount. In case of payment by the credit card, the Lessee pays the rental fee and the returnable security deposit, which will be blocked on his bank account (to block the security deposit is not possible to use debit card type of VISA ELEKTRON and MAESTRO). After the returning of the undamaged vehicle, the blocked security deposit is released.
The opening hours of our company is 365 days a years, during work days from 8.00-20.00 , during weekends and holidays from 10.00-18.00, during other time after individual agreement. All the the prices in our price list are final, full insurance cover in European Union, winter and summer tires, Slovak highway fee, full repair service and maintance of the vehicle. There are no aditional (hidden) fees charged.
F.A.Q.
Is the car available ALSO at the airport?
Yes. The car will be at your disposal at the Bratislava airport, Vienna airport or any other airport (Budapest, Prague, Kosice etc.), where we are ready to consign it directly (VIDEO). The representative of our company will be waiting for you also in case of your delayed flight. The other option is that our representative will pick you up at the airport, drive you to our main office where you do all the paper work and get the vehicle (VIDEO).
Is it possible to pick up the car out of opening hours?
Yes, after mutual or email agreement it is possible to take it over also out of opening hours. The car is availabe during weekdays from 8.00 to 20.00, at weekends from 10.00 to 18.00, out of these working hours for the extra charge amounting to Eur 15,- ( VAT included ).
What is the price of the car rental and mileage?
You can find our current price list at our website under Price List . The price of car rental for a day is formulated for a 24 hours. The price is determined in dependence on the length of rental – basically the longer the rental period, the lower price. All cars except business and SUV class at a short-term rental have limited number of kilometres for 300km/day, while at a long-term rental the number of kilometres is limited to 5000 km/ month. All cars of business and SUV class at a short-term rental have limited number of kilometres for 200km/day, while at a long-term rental the number of kilometres is limited to 3000 km/ month. After agreement is also possible to have unlimited mileage.
What are the payment conditions?
In case of payment in cash, the client pays the rent fee for car rental and a refundable deposit. The amount of the deposit depends on type of a car. This deposit will be refunded to the client in full amount when the car is returned undamaged. If you prefer to pay by your credit card, you will pay the rent fee for car rental and the refundable deposit will be held on your credit card. When the car is returned undamaged, the deposit will be released .
How can i make reservation of the vehicile?
Reservations can be made by phone call, e-mail or via our reservation form which is the quickest and easiest. The reservation for all vehicle types is free of charge and upon reception we will contact you within 24 hours by e-mail, where we confirm your booking. For categories of Business, SUV and VAN class vehicles, if you need to book them 3 and more months in advance, it is possible only by paying non-refundable deposit of amount 500 Eur incl. VAT , which will be deducted from the rental price in it´s full extent upon completion of the rental process.
Is the rented car inssured?
All of our cars are fully covered both with collision and also statutory insurance for all European union with collision damage waiver (CDW) of amount 10% but minimum is 330,-Eur. In case of paying extra full insurance protection through our company, the CDW is 0,-Eur/0%. Customers with full insurance protection are freed from most of the fees for car damages HERE. For premium brands and vehicle classes , the co-payment ranges from €330 to €800, depending on the type of vehicle and the client's history. In case of a any traffic accident, it is necessary to call the police and immediately to contact our company. If there is evidence that the the driver was intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, all damages concerning the rented car are going to the client´s own account.
HOW TO PROCEED IN CASE OF A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT or traffic violations?
In case of the traffic accident, it is necessary to call the police and then contact our company. Without police report the insurance company can refuse to refund the damage. In case of traffic guiltless accident or vehicle malfunction, our company will provide you a free vehicle replacement. For any troubles on the road we provide (as the only car rental company in Slovakia) 24/7 nonstop customer service (VIDEO). In the event that the lessor is notified of the commission of a traffic offense committed by the lessee during the lease period, the lessee is also obliged to pay an administrative fee for the administration of the offense in the flat amount of €30including VAT which you can find HERE.
WHAT IF THE VEHICLE FAILS?
If a technical fault occurs on the vehicle within Slovakia, our company provides a mobility guarantee within 24 hours of reporting this fault, i.e. we will ensure the delivery of a replacement vehicle within the territory of Slovakia in the event that the assistance service of the brand manufacturer is unable to remove the malfunction on the spot. In the event of a vehicle breakdown outside the territory of the Slovak Republic, all our vehicles are subject to warranty service and an international mobility guarantee by the manufacturer of the brand within 48 hours, which is guaranteed and secured by the brand of the given vehicle manufacturer in the given country. All procedural and warranty actions, including the replacement vehicle, are already communicated by the client directly with the assistance service of the specific vehicle brand of the country where the event occurred. During this process, our company is fully cooperative and handles the entire event for the client from an administrative point of view. The mobility guarantee does not cover damage caused by the lessee's negligence and improper handling of the vehicle.
Can we also drive the car abroad?
Yes, but prior to driving abroad you have to notice the car renter that you are going to leave the territory of the Slovak Republic. After written agreement from renter, you can drive the car throughout European union, and except: Ukraine, Litvia, Bielorus, Serbia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania.
CONTROLs on the dashboard, how to identify them?
Our modern vehicles are technically more and more advanced and have an increasing number or electronic systems as well as growing number of warning/information control lights. The control lights are divided into three groups: green, orange and red. Green ones are usually just informative controls. In case of orange ones, usually the vehicle is asking for something, for example to add oil or windshield fluid. A red control light signalizes a critical defect, when it is necessary to stop the drive immediately, turn off the engine and contact our 24/7 customer service (VIDEO) in order to prevent further damage.
