Terms and conditions of car rental :

Required documents for car rental  /natural person /:

• valid ID card  or passport
• valid driver license ( for categories where required)
• valid third document (insurance card, kredit card, budget account)

Required documents for car rental  / legal person /:

• valid Abstract  from the Companies Register
• valid ID card and driver license of the person who will drive the car
• contract of car rental has to be signed by the company executive

Payment conditions :

In case of payment in cash the client pays the rent fee for car rental and a refundable deposit. The amount of the deposit depends on type of a car. This deposit  will be refunded to the client in full amount  when the car is returned undamaged. If you prefer to pay by your credit card, you will pay the rent fee for car rental and the refundable deposit  will be held on your credit card. When the car is returned undamaged, the deposit will be released .

Disposal of car at arrival to Slovakia :

I. The car will be given at your disposal directly at the airport. If you choose this option, it is necessary to provide us by-email  with your personal details necessary  for preparation of the car rental contract.  

II. We will pick you up at the airport and drive to our office in Bratislava. Here we will conclude the car rental contract and give the car at your disposal.

Price differentiation and length of rental:

The price is determinated in dependence on the length of rental – in principle the longer the rental period -the lower the price. The car may be reserved by phone at  +421 902 181 100 or online by filling the e- form.

The car rental is at your disposal for  365 days a year from  8:00 to 20.00, at another time after individual agreement. The prices are determinated by lump fee without limitation of mileage. They include  collision and statutory insurance for the Member States of the EU.

Is the car available at the airport?

Yes. The car will be at your disposal at the airport where we are ready to consign it directly. The representative of our company will be waiting for you also in case of your delayed flight.

Is it possible to pick up the car out of opening hours?

Yes, after mutual agreement it is possible to take it over also out of opening hours. The car is availabe during weekdays from 8.00 to 18.00, at weekends and during holidays from 10.00 to 18.00, out of these working hours for the extra charge amounting to Eur 15,- ( VAT included ).

What is the price of the rented car?

You can find our current price list at our website www.auto-rental.sk under "Autopark and Price List ". The price is determined in dependence on the length of rental – basically the longer the rental period, the lower price. All cars at a short-term rental have unlimited number of kilometres, while at a long-term rental the number of kilometres is limited to 5000 km/ month. Is the rented car insured?

Our cars are covered both with collision and statutory insurance. In case of a traffic accident, it is necessary to call the police and immediately to contat our company. If there is evidence that the the driver was intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, all damages concerning the rented car are going to the client´s own account.

How to proceed in case of a traffic accident?

In case of the traffic accident, it is necessary to call the police and then contact our company. Without police report the insurance company will not refund the loss.

What amount must I pay in case of a traffic accident?

The cars are covered with regular insurance participation up to Eur 300 or 10% of the total loss, or with extra insurance with  ZERO participation. In the event of the gross violation of the car rental conditions or police provisions on vehicle road traffic, the car rental company may claim the payment of all loss by the client.

What if the accident was caused by another vehicle?

In this case, if you did not cause any accident or damage, but you know the guilty vehicle, which information are stated in the police enrolment, you have driver information and statement, and the accident was correctly noted to the police, you have ZERO damage participation.

Can we drive the car also abroad?

Yes, but prior to driving abroad you have to notice the car renter that you are going to leave the territory of the Slovak Republic. You can drive the car throughout Europe, except from : The Ukraine, Romania, Albania, Serbia.
